Team Culture at Scotty's

Even though we perform our work using heavy machinery and advanced computers, we’re a company of people first and foremost. At Scotty’s, we make a considerable effort to hire individuals with diverse talents who share a common set of attributes:

Attitude is one of the most powerful tools in determining a team’s success. In our experience, teams with positive attitudes have the potential to outperform those who might have more intelligence, knowledge, and resources.

We’re not the only company that claims it, but those of us at Scotty’s know it to be true: we treat each other like family here. And when we hire new team members, we welcome their loved ones into our family as well.

Scotty’s culture is shaped by our unwavering commitment to quality in everything we do. From the roads we pave to our delivery methods and processes, and including how the relationships we form with each other and our partners—quality paves the way.

Community Commitment

Our Team in the Community

Our team members at Scotty’s play an active role in improving our Kentucky communities, both on the job and off. We involve ourselves in numerous community service projects every year, ranging from food and clothing donation drives to volunteer events. We do it because we live here. As residents ourselves, we believe it’s our responsibility to offer help to our neighbors when it’s needed.

Over the years, we’ve formed relationships with charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, The Salvation Army, Ronald McDonald House, and more. These partnerships build lifelong ties within our communities and remind us of the value of getting involved.
