The Engineering Department specializes in Pre-Bid Analysis, 3D Modeling, Construction Surveying and Design-Build, transforming complex plans into actionable, geo-referenced data. This team has an unmatched level of skill in civil engineering software and unparalleled attention to detail in plan analysis. By analyzing construction plans with precision and detail, we create files that serve as the backbone of every project, enabling field crews to execute with confidence and accuracy.
Pre-Bid Analysis
Pre-Bid Analysis involves meticulous calculations of materials required for a project—tons of asphalt, cubic yards of dirt, or linear feet of storm pipe. For earthwork takeoffs, our team goes a step further by analyzing construction phasing and balancing earthwork.
3D Modeling
3D modeling transforms traditional plans into full-scale, geo-referenced digital models. From road centerlines and profiles to drainage and transitions, every aspect of the finished grade is mapped for constructability. These models guide equipment control systems and construction surveying, ensuring that what’s built matches the design—down to the last millimeter.
Field Mapping
In the field, we’re responsible for grade monitoring, machine control accuracy, and construction staking. Using cutting-edge drone mapping technology, we are providing real-time progress updates by flying ongoing projects on a regular basis. By processing drone and LiDAR data, we generate 3D textured meshes and topographic surveys, delivering unmatched insights into site conditions by increasing efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
